Inspiration generally comes from individual stones; when I buy a stone, a picture of the ultimate vision for the design appears in my mind. If no vision comes immediately, Arizona sunsets, and natures other wonders inspire me. I also draw inspiration from architectural elements. With necklaces I sit for hours looking at various combinations until they coalesce into a series. For these reasons, my designs tend to be one-of-a-kind or produced in limited numbers. Sometimes I use variations on a theme to produce a series of pieces.
I have been designing a line of charms that will be available in quantity, as well as a system of interchangeable pendants to be called Cynergy. I also design individual pieces on a commissioned basis, including wedding rings, anniversary sets and other special occasion items.
I began designing jewelry over ten years ago, while attending a securities law seminar in San Francisco. I have taken classes at the Revere Academy in San Francisco. I haven't yet left my law practice, but I design and add new pieces regularly. I expect to make pieces available in galleries soon. So, please visit often or join the mailing list and I will notify you when new pieces are posted. I'd enjoy hearing from you. Sincere comments on the web-site and my offerings are always welcome, as are requests for assistance in the design of a special piece for yourself or another.
